We live in the age of information. Different platforms in the social media provide internet users with all kind of information. In the world of tourism, websites like Tripadvisor, Holidaycheck, Booking provide comments with the experiences of guests from different hotels and fincas.
These comments are a useful tool both for future
guests, who obtain a general impression from different points of view about the
hotel or finca they are considering visiting, while they are also useful for
the hotels and fincas, in order to see what our guests like or about what needs
to be improved.
However, some comments
can be a source of disinformation.
Referring to a comment about Na Set Centes on Tripadvisor,
from April 2015 and signed by ‘uhu85’,
State of Bremen, 24.04.15 I would like to clarify the following:
1.
This
user is referring to room, the suite, which is liked, appreciated and enjoyed
by many guests every year.
2.
21% of all our guests are ‘Stammgäste’,
‘repeating guests’ who have previously visited us (2, 3, 4, 5,… 8 and or more
times). A vast majority of guests, ‘Stamgäste’ and those who visit us as their
first time, love the synthesis of old and new architectural - decorative features in this room as well as in the house in
general.
3.
An
element which most of our guests emphasize is the freshness of the air: in the room, in the house and around. The claim from Mr. Uhu85 when saying that
everywhere there was a ‘smell of insecticide’ is more than inaccurate, it is
untrue.
4.
Since
we opened in the year 2000, Na Set Centes has acquired a positive reputation as
an authentic finca, restored in a fresh Mediterranean style, combining old and
new in a balanced way. It has also been
regularly praised as a well kept Agroturismo.
With such an aim we keep regular checks and controls to keep in fitting
order the facilities, the furniture and the architectural elements of the
house. When something breaks down it is repaired or replaced.
5.
Being
said that, it must also be said that when depending on external providers or professionals
(builders, carpenters, etc.) we need to adapt our needs to the schedule of
these external providers and professionals.
(Although for electrical and plumber emergencies, the company we work
with for this kind of emergencies has
always reacted almost immediately)

On
Tripadvisor, Holidays Check, Booking.com, Fincahotels (www.fincahotels.com) and similar
pages, most comments are positive. Even more, some of our guests say Na Set
Centes is like a paradise. We feel very grateful for these kind of comments. Although,
saying that Na Set Centes is a “paradise” is a personal opinion from different
guests who visited us and enjoyed their stay with us. I would recommend all people
who wish to visit us, to take this kind of comment as a reference, perhaps as a
goal. Not as a reality which necessarily will work for each and every guest. In this world, each person has their likes
and scale of values. For this reason:
